...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Illinois, including the following
  county, Cook and northwest Indiana, including the following
  county, Lake IN.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 644 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated rainfall ending across the area with up to 1 inch
    storm total. Street flooding is likely to end shortly.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Harvey, Dolton, Calumet City, East Chicago, Hammond, Lansing,
    Whiting.
    Riverdale, South Deering, Hegewisch, Pullman community areas
    of Chicago.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
