Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 15Z, or 8 AM PDT, a 1034 mb surface high was
centered 1200 NM west of Portland, Oregon. A 1006 mb thermal low
was centered near the California-Arizona border. A weak frontal
system moving over the waters today will increase the winds and
bring widespread gusty west to northwest winds.
