...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN CROSBY COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...
The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
northwestern Texas.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT
FOR SOUTHERN LYNN...SOUTHWESTERN GARZA AND SOUTHEASTERN TERRY
COUNTIES...
At 1149 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles east of
O`Donnell, or 13 miles south of Tahoka, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...West Texas Mesonet station in O`Donnell measured a wind
gust to 70 mph.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Post, O`Donnell, Grassland, and New Moore.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
