...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD...
Eastern Bay...

At 302 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 nm northeast of Key Bridge to Alexandria to
Leesylvania State Park, moving east at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Observed wind.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
         suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

  Mayo, Shady Side, and Highland Beach around 345 PM EDT.
  Thomas Point Light, Deale, and Sandy Point State Park around 350
  PM EDT.
  Matapeake and Chesapeake Bay Bridge around 355 PM EDT.
  Bloody Point Light and Romancoke around 400 PM EDT.
  Poplar Island and Eastern Bay around 405 PM EDT.
  Parsons Island around 410 PM EDT.
  Miles River around 420 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Romancoke
and Highland Beach.
