Patchy fog is in place across portions of the northern Shenandoah Valley and west central Maryland this morning, including the Interstate 81 corridor and Interstate 70 through Frederick and Hagerstown. Some fog is locally dense with visibility less than one quarter mile. Expect fog to improve around 9 AM. If traveling, be alert for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and use low beam headlights when encountering dense fog. $$
