CANCELLED...
The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for District of
Columbia...and central Maryland.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT
FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA...SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY
AND NORTHWESTERN PRINCE GEORGES COUNTIES...
At 802 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Takoma Park, or
over Langley Park, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
light objects may become projectiles.
Locations impacted include...
College Park, Langley Park, Beltsville, Fairland, White Oak, Takoma
Park, Adelphi, Colesville, Kemp Mill, Chevy Chase, South Kensington,
Forest Glen, Hillandale, Martin`s Additions, North Chevy Chase,
Wheaton-Glenmont, Silver Spring, Wheaton, Chillum, and Calverton.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
