This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

By early next week...a period of above normal temperatures is
expected across the state. Daily highs are expected to approach or
exceed 90 degrees in many locations...with heat index values in the
upper 90s at times. Elevated to moderate heat stress is expected
during the peak heating hours of the day. Expect conditions to
cool off by the middle of the week as rain chances return to the
forecast.

Chances for rain and thunderstorms are expected to return to the
forecast area late Tuesday night. Some storms may become briefly
strong to severe during the overnight period into Wednesday
morning. However...the threat for more widespread severe weather
remains low at the moment.
