...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN LEA...NORTHWESTERN
ECTOR...ANDREWS...SOUTHWESTERN GAINES AND NORTHEASTERN WINKLER
COUNTIES THROUGH 115 AM CDT/1215 AM MDT/...

At 1226 AM CDT/1126 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 16 miles northeast of
Andrews to 7 miles northeast of Eunice. Movement was south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Andrews, Gaines County Airport, Florey, Frankel City, and Andrews
County Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT/200 AM
MDT/ for southeastern New Mexico...and western Texas.
