...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL CULBERSON COUNTY...
At 522 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 27 miles north of
Plateau, or 32 miles northwest of Kent, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Culberson County.
This includes Interstate 10 near mile marker 163.
