...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Crockett and Gibson.

* WHEN...Until 330 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to
  excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1218 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
    warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 4
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Humboldt, Alamo, Bells, Eaton, Maury City, Friendship,
    Gadsden, Quincy, Crockett Mills, Gibson Wells, Brims Corner,
    Brazil, Coxville, Maury Junction, Hodson, Fruitvale,
    Elizabeth and Central.
  - Highway 189 remains closed between Maury City and Friendship
    at Pond Creek. Additional small streams may overflow causing
    high water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
