This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible
this afternoon mainly over the southwest areas of South Florida.
Thunderstorms will be capable of gusty winds, lightning strikes, and
localized heavy rainfall.

Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk of rip currents across the
Palm Beaches.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon through early
early next week. The focus will be over the western interior areas
late this week before shifting back to the eastern areas this weekend
into early next week. Primary impacts will be lighting strikes, gusty
winds, and localize flooding.

Heat indices will be in the mid 90s to near 100 rest of this week
before increasing to 100 to 105 this weekend. The heat indices will
then increase to the mid to upper 100s over most areas early next
week with a few locations over the interior areas getting up to
around 110 degrees.

An elevated risk of rip currents will develop along all Atlantic
Coast beaches towards the end of the week and into the upcoming
weekend. The rip current risk will remain highest across the Palm
Beaches during this time frame.
