...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Collier and
western Hendry Counties through 600 AM EDT...

At 529 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout 8 miles north
of Copeland, or 15 miles north of Everglades City, moving north at 50
mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Ave Maria, Immokalee, Golden Gate Estates, Big Corkscrew Island, Big
Cypress National Preserve, Miles City, Sunniland, Bunker Hill,
Jerome, Deep Lake, and Lake Trafford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This activity was also developing in an environment favorable for the
formation of funnel clouds. Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio and
local media for additional updates and possible warnings.
