...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WASHINGTON...
HYDE...DARE...EASTERN BEAUFORT AND SOUTHERN TYRRELL COUNTIES THROUGH
730 PM EDT...

At 657 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Killkenny, or 26 miles west of Stumpy Point, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Stumpy Point, Killkenny, Manns Harbor, Gum Neck, Kilkenny, Scranton,
Fairfield, Sladesville, Manteo, Rose Bay, Lake Landing, Middletown,
Fort Landing, Buffalo City, Lake Mattamuskeet, Frying Pan Landing,
and Alligator Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
