...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HYDE...WEST CENTRAL
DARE AND SOUTHEASTERN TYRRELL COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 756 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fort Landing, or 19 miles west of Stumpy Point, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Stumpy Point, Gum Neck, and Fort Landing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for eastern North
Carolina.
