Baraboo River At Reedsburg affecting Sauk County. .Rainfall has ended across the basin, with rainfall response minimal so far tonight. Expecting a slow rise due to runoff through tonight into Sunday morning, although latest forecasts indicate some potential to not achieve flood stage. We will continue to monitor for potential changes to the Flood Warning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The walking path adjacent to the river in Webb Park and Smith Conservancy is mostly covered with water. The public works yard is under several inches of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 14.1 feet.
