THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Isolated lightning storms will be possible this afternoon and
early evening over Okeechobee and Osceola counties and the inland
portions of the Treasure coast counties of Martin, Saint Lucie and
Indian River. The main threats with any storms will be gusty
winds, lightning strikes and locally heavy downpours.

.EXCESSIVE HEAT IMPACT...
Continued above normal temperatures combined with some humidity
will produce peak heat indices around 100 this afternoon mainly
south of Orlando, especially around Lake Okeechobee.

.DENSE FOG/SMOKE IMPACT...
Patchy dense fog has formed across portions of Brevard, Osceola,
Indian River, Saint Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties early
this morning. Visibilities may be reduced below one half mile at
times. If dense fog is encountered, slow down and leave plenty of
space between you and vehicles in front of you. The fog should
lift by 8 am.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A Moderate Risk of dangerous rip currents will exist at all central
Florida Atlantic beaches today. Be sure to swim near a lifeguard and
never enter the ocean alone.

.FIRE WEATHER IMPACT...
Above normal temperatures and low humidity will continue to
produce a fire weather danger. Light winds this morning will turn
northeast to east and increase 10 to 15 mph this afternoon. Most
areas will remain dry but a few lightning storms are possible over
inland Martin, Okeechobee and Osceola counties this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
A Moderate Risk of life-threatening rip currents will exist at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches Friday, becoming a High Risk
this weekend.

Sensitive fire weather conditions will continue across east
central Florida into the weekend as east winds increase and very
slim rain chances.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
