The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Mississippi Sound...
  North Mobile Bay...
  South Mobile Bay...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 409 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located near Grand Bay, moving southeast at 15
  knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and large
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could
           result in structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  Gaillard Island, East Fowl River Bridge, Grand Bay, Bon Secour Bay,
  Middle Bay Light, Heron Bay, Point Clear, Weeks Bay, Dog River
  Bridge, and Fairhope Pier.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for the adjacent
coastal waters.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, large hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.
