...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ESCAMBIA AND
SOUTHWESTERN COVINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM CDT...

At 254 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of East Brewton, or 8 miles east of Brewton, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Escambia and southwestern Covington Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
