...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

.Recent rainfall has resulted in a rise of water levels on the
Minnesota River at Morton. The river is forecast to slowly fall over
the next several days, eventually dropping below Minor flood stage
later this week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 700 PM CDT Wednesday, the stage was 21.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 700 PM CDT Wednesday was 21.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday evening and continue falling to 19.4 feet Wednesday,
    June 05.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.
