The first round is expected between 1 PM and 7 PM this afternoon and evening, mainly for areas along and north of I-40. These storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts to 70 mph, large hail to ping-pong ball size, and tornadoes. A second round of severe storms is expected tonight, likely between midnight and 5 AM. These storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. In addition, repeated or prolonged periods of heavy rainfall may produce localized flooding in a few locations. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
