NORTHERN WASHINGTON AND SOUTHEASTERN WISE COUNTIES THROUGH 530 AM
EDT...

At 429 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms 11 miles southwest of Trammel, or 12 miles southeast
of Wise, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lebanon, Cleveland Va, Coeburn, Glade Spring, Honaker, St. Paul,
Emory-Meadow View, Rosedale, Dye, and Lindell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT for southwestern
Virginia.
