  Western Greene County in east Tennessee...
  North central Sevier County in east Tennessee...
  Central Grainger County in east Tennessee...
  Hamblen County in east Tennessee...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 506 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Jefferson
  City, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Morristown, Greeneville, Sevierville, Jefferson City, Newport,
  Rogersville, Dandridge, Rutledge, Bean Station, and White Pine.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 406 and 431.
 Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 1 and 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for east
Tennessee.
