NORTHEASTERN SEVIER COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
east Tennessee.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN COCKE AND SOUTH CENTRAL GREENE COUNTIES...
At 530 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Smoky
Mountains-Big Creek, or 8 miles south of Newport, moving northeast at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Del Rio, Cedar Creek, Round Mountain, Cosby, Hartford, and Max Patch.
This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 437 and
451.
