...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT QUEENS...WEST CENTRAL SUFFOLK...
KINGS AND NASSAU COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM EDT...

At 235 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Coney Island to near Rockaway Beach to 6
miles south of Atlantic Beach to 8 miles south of Long Beach.
Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jamaica, Flatbush, Levittown, Freeport, Valley Stream, Long Beach,
Huntington Station, Glen Cove, Plainview, Coney Island, Garden City,
Massapequa, Lynbrook, Syosset, and Mineola.
