At 1030 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Huntington to near Melville to 13 miles
southeast of Jones Beach. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.
