...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL SUFFOLK AND EASTERN
NASSAU COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM EDT...

At 823 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hicksville, or over Westbury, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brentwood, Levittown, Commack, Huntington Station, Centereach, Deer
Park, Plainview, Hauppauge, Syosset, Huntington, Westbury, Stony
Brook, Farmingdale, Port Jefferson, and Northport.
