...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Indiana, including the following
  county, Vanderburgh.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 702 PM CDT, Because of all the heavy rainfall, several
    streets and flood prone areas are still under water. Any
    additional rainfall, even from an isolated storm, will
    prolong these high water areas. Therefore the flood advisory
    has been extended another hour, even though the overall storm
    activity will continue waning.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Evansville including Angel Mounds, Newburgh, Melody Hill,
    Darmstadt, and Kasson.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
