...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CARTER COUNTY THROUGH 500 PM
CDT...
At 428 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Handy, or 10 miles southwest of Van Buren. Another strong storm was
located just west of Van Buren. Both were moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Van Buren and Fremont.
