...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MONONGALIA...
NORTHEASTERN WETZEL AND NORTHERN MARION COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM
EDT...

At 326 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hundred, or 13 miles northwest of Mannington, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fairmont, Mannington, Barrackville, Fairview, Hundred, Cassville,
Rivesville, Grant Town, Farmington, Blacksville, Everettville,
McCurdyville, Burton, Metz, Curtisville, Wadestown, Daybrook,
Georgetown, Core, and Baxter.

This includes Interstate 79 in West Virginia between mile markers 140
and 143, and
  between mile markers 157 and 160.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
