...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MONONGALIA AND
NORTHWESTERN PRESTON COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Star City, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Morgantown, Westover, Star City, Granville, Brookhaven, Masontown,
Brandonville, Bruceton Mills, Valley Point, Booth, Laurel Run,
Clifton Mills, Cheat Lake, and Osage.

This includes the following highways...
  Interstate 68 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 26.
  Interstate 79 in West Virginia between mile markers 149 and 156.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
