...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HARNETT...LEE AND
SOUTHEASTERN CHATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT...

At 638 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sanford to 15 miles southeast of Goldston.
Movement was northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Broadway, Gum Springs, Moncure, Cumnock, Seminole, Duncan,
and Shearon Harris Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
