...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON...
PLEASANTS...CENTRAL RITCHIE...NORTHEASTERN WIRT...TYLER AND
NORTHEASTERN WOOD COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM EDT...

At 421 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of North Bend State Park, or 12 miles west of Harrisville,
moving northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Parkersburg, Harrisville, St. Marys, Middlebourne, Paden City,
Sistersville, Pennsboro, Belmont, North Bend State Park,
Mineralwells, Newport, Matamoras, Ellenboro, Cairo, Friendly, Fly,
Alma, Maxwell, Schultz, and New Matamoras.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 171 and 175.
 Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 11 and 42.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
