...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT
ALLEGHANY...NORTHWESTERN SURRY...NORTHEASTERN WILKES AND NORTHEASTERN
ASHE COUNTIES IN NORTHWESTERN NORTH CAROLINA...SOUTH CENTRAL CARROLL
AND SOUTHEASTERN GRAYSON COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA THROUGH
715 PM EDT...

At 637 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Whitehead, or near Sparta, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Glendale Springs...
Bottom...
and Roaring Gap.
