...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN CARROLL AND WESTERN PATRICK COUNTIES...

At 427 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Gladesboro, or
near Fancy Gap, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Hillsville...
Fancy Gap...
Gladesboro...
and Laurel Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for DAMAGING WINDS. For your safety, move to an
interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away
from windows.
