...SCATTERED PRECIP TODAY ACROSS NORTHEAST NEVADA...

.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (SAT AM - FRI AM)...

The upr trof axis has shifted onshore with its axis now past the
Sierra moving over the Great Basin. Best concentration of echoes
according to the latest radar imagery shows the upper portions of
the Humboldt River basin in northeast NV seeing light to locally
moderate precip this morning. By this afternoon...the system will
have moved east of the area on its way toward the Rocky Mountain
states...leaving drier west to northwest flow aloft.

Into early next week...an upr ridge is expected to build over the
interior...while a deep upr low sets up over the Gulf of Alaska and
extends southward over the northeast Pacific. General westerly flow
aloft will be the rule on Sunday...turning a bit more from the
southwest as the pattern evolves and amplifies.

The below average temperatures today will warm closer to and then
above normal for most areas from Sunday through Tuesday with the
exception being along the immediate coast where marine influences
will keep temperatures in check. Then...by the middle of the week a
disturbance rotating around the parent upr low over the Gulf of
Alaska will make its way toward the Pacific Northwest...as the high
pressure over the interior makes its way over the Plains states. In
general...precip is expected to remain north of the area...but the
lowering heights will allow for temperatures to actually cool just a
tad for Wednesday into Thursday...or at least not continue to ramp
up. By the end of the week...heights will once again begin to rise
with temperatures once again rebounding.
