Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Surface high pressure builds in between a low over
Quebec, 29.50 inches, and a deeper low, 29.30 inches, over the
Upper Midwest. A secondary surface low develops along a cold
front late Friday into Saturday which presents an opportunity for
thunderstorm development that peaks in coverage Saturday morning.
An occluded low, 29.20 inches, then tracks across Wisconsin and
into The UP Sunday night and Monday with additional opportunities
for showers and thunderstorms. Cooler post-frontal conditions
expected for the middle of next week.

.REST OF TODAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots late in the morning
becoming light and variable...then becoming east 5 to 10 knots late
in the afternoon. Sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast 10 to 15
knots after midnight...then diminishing to 5 to 10 knots early in
the morning. Partly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms
after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the west in the
late morning and afternoon. Partly sunny. Light showers likely and a
chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...North winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the northeast
after midnight. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast 15 to 20
knots. Partly sunny...then showers and a chance of thunderstorms in
the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Showers and a chance of
thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance
of showers and thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
