Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...The central Great Lakes are positioned between a low
pressure system to the north and a ridge of high pressure to the
south. High pressure works in from the northwest Friday offering
dry and stable conditions. An upper level disturbance ejects
across the Upper Midwest Friday night into Saturday with a
surface low developing along the system`s cold front offering
opportunities for some thunderstorms. An occluded low then tracks
across Wisconsin and into The UP Sunday night and Monday.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots this evening
becoming light and variable. Clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming east 5 to 10 knots late in the
afternoon. Sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast 10 to 15
knots after midnight. Partly cloudy. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the west in the
late morning and afternoon. Partly sunny with showers likely and a
chance of thunderstorms. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...North winds 5 to 10 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 2
feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east 15 to 20
knots. Mostly sunny in the morning...then a chance of light showers
in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy with showers likely and a chance of
thunderstorms in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy. Showers likely
and a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance
of showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
