Another flash the lights test is scheduled for IDP weather.gov/CMS today, Thursday May 23, from 1200Z-1900Z. During this test, CMS rsync content that is dual-fed will be available on weather.gov. If manual CMS changes are needed during this test, they will need to be made in both IDP (cms.ncep.noaa.gov) and NIDS (cms.nids.noaa.gov) in order to not get overwritten after the test. To prevent impacts to SPOT forecasts, weather.gov/spot will be redirected to www-legacy.weather.gov/spot during the test, and will remain re-directed until SPOT is migrated to IDP. Also, customers may see known differences in office web pages during the test.
