Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...An upper level trough will continue to move east out
of the region Sunday night. Upper level ridging will then nudge
into the region for warmer and drier conditions at Mount Rainier
National Park on Monday. Another trough will drop south into western
Washington Tuesday into Wednesday for a return to wetter, breezier,
and cooler weather. A few showers may persist across the park on
Thursday, but expect an overall drying trend through the day.
Wetter and cooler conditions return Friday and persist into the
start of next weekend.

.SUNDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly
cloudy. A slight chance of thunderstorms and showers in the
evening, then a slight chance of showers late in the evening.
Snow level near 4500 feet.
.MONDAY...Mostly sunny. Freezing level near 5500 feet increasing
to 7000 feet in the afternoon.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly cloudy
with a slight chance of showers after midnight. No snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 6000 feet.
.TUESDAY...Rain and snow likely in the morning, then rain and
snow in the afternoon. Snow level near 6000 feet.
