Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...Cool and showery conditions will persist across Mount
Rainier National Park Saturday night as an upper level trough is
situated over the region. Slight chance of thunderstorms will be
possible in the vicinity of the park through the evening. Showers
will taper through Sunday. Dry and warmer conditions are expected
Monday, before another system moves into the region on Tuesday
for a return to wet and unsettled conditions. Wet and unsettled
conditions then look to persist mid to late week.

.SATURDAY NIGHT...Showers, snow showers and a slight chance of
thunderstorms in the evening, then showers likely late in the
evening. A slight chance of showers after midnight. Snow may be
heavy at times late in the evening. Snow accumulation near
Paradise of 1 to 5 inches. Snow level near 4000 feet.
.SUNDAY...Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers in the
morning, then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Snow level
near 4000 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly
clear. Freezing level near 5500 feet.
.MONDAY...Sunny. Freezing level near 5500 feet increasing to
7000 feet in the afternoon.
