Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast
National Weather Service Seattle WA
239 PM PDT Tue Jun 4 2024

.SYNOPSIS...Widespread precipitation and breezy conditions will
continue to diminish through tonight. A pattern change will result
in high pressure building over the region through late this week,
allowing temperatures to rise to above normal levels. The warmest
temperatures will likely occur Friday and Saturday across western
Washington before falling back towards normal by early next week.

&&

.IMPACTS...Strong winds at and above 10,000 feet will make it
difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout
conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.

&&

.TUESDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Mostly cloudy with showers, snow showers
likely and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then
mostly cloudy with a chance of showers late in the evening.

evening.
.WEDNESDAY...Sunny. Freezing level near 9500 feet increasing to
12500 feet in the afternoon.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Mostly clear. Freezing level near 13000 feet.
