This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and storms will move across the region this morning
with the potential for isolated strong wind gusts.

There is a conditional threat for showers and thunderstorms
later this afternoon and evening north of Highway 32/I-44.
If storms do form, a few could be capable of small hail and
an isolated damaging wind gust or two.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorm chances increase Tuesday evening through Wednesday
evening bringing a greater potential for severe weather. Damaging
winds will be the main threat with these storms, but large hail,
a spinup tornado or two, and flooding are secondary threats.

Daily 30-50% chances for showers and thunderstorms exist through
the weekend.
