...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SHANNON...NORTHEASTERN HOWELL...
SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS AND NORTHERN OREGON COUNTIES THROUGH 900 AM CDT...

At 824 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Summersville, or 11 miles northeast of Mountain View, moving east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Current River State Park, Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Echo Bluff
State Park, Mountain View, Winona, Birch Tree, Eminence,
Summersville, Montier, Teresita, Midridge, Wilderness, Arroll, Alley
Spring, Round Spring, West Eminence, Greer, and Pine Crest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
