...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN WEBSTER...NORTHERN CHRISTIAN AND SOUTHERN GREENE
COUNTIES...

At 657 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Republic,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 656 PM, off-duty NWS Employee
         reported quarter sized hail one mile west of Republic.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Battlefield, Rogersville, Sparta,
Billings, Fremont Hills, Brookline, Turners, Linden, and Galloway.

This includes Interstate 44 mile marker 65 and near mile marker 69.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southwestern
Missouri.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
