...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN BOURBON AND NORTHERN VERNON COUNTIES...

At 447 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hume, or 11
miles southwest of Rich Hill, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Walker, Schell City, Fulton, Richards, Metz, Harwood, Stotesbury,
Hammond, and Horton.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 95 and 107.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern
Kansas...and west central Missouri.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
