...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Arkansas, including the following
  counties, eastern Hempstead and Nevada.

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 840 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of
    rain have fallen since early this morning.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area through 10 AM. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hope, Prescott, Emmet, Blevins, Perrytown, Rosston, Fulton,
    Washington, Willisville, Bodcaw, Bluff City, Cale, Patmos,
    Oakhaven, Sutton, Laneburg, Mount Moriah, Boughton, Morris
    and Waterloo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
