...The National Weather Service in Shreveport LA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Sabine River Near Beckville affecting Panola, Harrison, Rusk and
  Gregg Counties.

  Sabine River Near Hawkins affecting Upshur, Smith and Wood
  Counties.

  Sabine River Near Gladewater affecting Smith, Upshur, Gregg and
  Wood Counties.

  Sabine River At Longview affecting Rusk and Gregg Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Beckville.

* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Expect considerable lowland flooding on
  the reach of the Sabine River from the Tatum through Beckville and
  DeBerry areas with flooded boat ramps, gas and petroleum wells,
  and even some low area cabins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 27.2
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    27.3 feet on 05/28/2015.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Hawkins.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding of pastures and
  boatramps.  Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 21.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening and continue rising to a crest of 24.8 feet
    early Sunday morning. It will then rise to 25.9 feet
    Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    27.1 feet on 03/25/2012.

  decrease over the next several days.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 23.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening and continue rising to a crest of 31.7 feet
    Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    31.7 feet on 03/09/1993.

* WHEN...From late Monday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Expect minor lowland flooding with boat
  ramps flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 22.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue rising to 25.9 feet
    Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    26.1 feet on 06/30/1986.
