...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN NACOGDOCHES...SOUTHERN
SHELBY...NORTHWESTERN ANGELINA...SAN AUGUSTINE AND NORTHWESTERN
SABINE COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM CDT...

At 622 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Rosevine to near Etoile to near Apple Springs.
Movement was north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Diboll, Hudson, Huntington, San Augustine,
Melrose, Patroon, Martinsville, Bland Lake, Neuville, Woden,
Rosevine, Macune, Etoile, Burke, Chireno, Jericho, Central, and
Redland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
eastern Texas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect
until 1000 PM CDT for eastern Texas.
