...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING
FOR NORTHEASTERN TOM GREEN COUNTY...

At 531 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain on the west side of San Angelo moving east.  Between 1 and 1.5
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  San Angelo, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Lake Nasworthy, O.C. Fisher
  Reservoir, San Angelo State Park, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Wall,
  Grape Creek and Veribest.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Howard and Webster, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306, Jackson From
Knickerbocker to South Bryant, College Hills and Millbrook, FM 2334
crossing Ninemile Creek, 300 block of North Archer, Sul Ross At Red
Arroyo Crossing, FM 2334 crossing Dry Lipan Creek, Huntington and
Sunset and Huntington and Sunset.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
