...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM AST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following
  counties, Caguas, Gurabo, Humacao, Juncos, Las Piedras, Naguabo
  and San Lorenzo.

* WHEN...Until 130 AM AST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
  occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1117 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Juncos, Las Piedras, San Lorenzo, Gurabo, Humacao, Caguas,
    Naguabo, La Fermina, Celada, Anton Ruiz, Punta Santiago,
    Bairoa, Aguas Claras, Roosevelt Roads, El Mango, Pueblito Del
    Rio, Lomas, Pena Pobre, Jagual and Rio Blanco.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
